Terms and Conditions for Marketplace Items Sold by Sellers
This page, together with the documents referred to on it, tells you the terms and conditions (these Terms and Conditions) on which we supply any of the products (each a Product) listed on our website www.zalora.sg (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Site’) to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Products from the Site. You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should print a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.1. The ZALORA Marketplace Platform
1.1 This page gives you the terms and conditions (the “Terms”) on which you may make use of the ZALORA Marketplace Platform (the “Platform”). Please read these Terms carefully before ordering any Products from the Platform. By using the Platform, you indicate that you accept these Terms and that you agree to abide by them.
1.2 ZALORA Marketplace, is operated by Jade E-Services Singapore Pte Ltd.
1.3 We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time without notice to you by posting changes online. You are responsible for regularly reviewing information posted online to obtain timely notice of such changes. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms.
1.4 In order for you to use ZALORA Marketplace, you must be a least 18 years of age and possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. All the Terms and Conditions found in the ZALORA website are applicable to Marketplace, except as provided herein.
1.5 You agree to comply at all times with any instructions for use of Marketplace which we make from time to time.
1.6 In these Terms:
- "Seller" refers to any merchant that has signed up with ZALORA Marketplace to sell their products using our platform;
- "Marketplace Product/Item" refers to any product sold by Sellers through our platform.
1.7 The use of the Platform is subject to ZALORA’s “Terms and Condition” and “Privacy Policy”.
2. Registration for the Service
2.1 If you would like to submit an order to purchase one of Marketplace Products listed on the platform, you will need to register for a ZALORA account on the Website (an “Account”) which you will be able to access on the Website through the “My Account” part of the Website. To register, you need to supply us with your name, address, postal code and email address and possibly some other personal information. See our and the ZALORA Privacy Policy for more details about this.
2.2 If you already have a valid ZALORA account, you need not register again.
3. Ordering and Payment
3.1 Before making an Order, you must first register for an account in accordance to Clause 2 and the Terms and Conditions indicated on ZALORA Website.
3.2 We shall not be obliged to supply Marketplace Products to you until we have accepted your Order. Unless expressly stating that we accept your order, an email, letter, fax or other Acknowledgement of your Order by us is purely for information purposes and does not constitute the Confirmation of Order. Our confirmation of Order shall be deemed to come into effect when it has been dispatched by us.
3.3 Without affecting your obligation to pay us earlier, we may send an invoice to you at any time after we have accepted your Order. Until the time when we accept your Order, we reserve the right to refuse to process your Order and you reserve the right to cancel your Order. If ZALORA, you, or the Seller has cancelled your Order before we have accepted it, then we will promptly refund any payment already made by you or your credit or debit card company to us for the order of Marketplace Product.
3.4 Each Order made by you for products sold by Seller(s) shall be, or shall be deemed to be, a transaction entered into directly between you and the Seller(s), and ZALORA’s role in the transaction shall be that of an online platform services provider. ZALORA acts as a payment processing agent for the Seller(s), and shall pay the Seller(s) the sum received from you for the relevant products.
4. Promotional Vouchers, Discounts and Gift Vouchers
4.1 Promotional vouchers and store credits earned from using the ZALORA websites cannot be used as payment for your orders of Marketplace Products. Likewise, Marketplace products are not subject to any voucher discounts, coupon codes and cart rule discounts;
4.2 Gift vouchers bought from the ZALORA website cannot be used as payment for your orders of Marketplace products.
4.3 You may refer to the Terms and Conditions on the ZALORA website for the redemption of gift vouchers.
5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1 ZALORA aims to deliver Marketplace products you ordered within the time agreed upon at purchase. However, we are unable to guarantee that all orders will be delivered within the stipulated time frame.
5.2 Neither we, nor the Seller, shall be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.
5.3 Marketplace products will be delivered in our standard packaging. Any special packaging requested by you is subject to additional charges.
5.4 ZALORA partners with reputable shipping providers to collect products from our sellers, and delivers them directly to you. Once the Seller confirms your order, they pack your item(s) and schedule a pick-up through our Seller center platform.
5.5 Since Marketplace products are packaged and prepared by the Sellers themselves, we are unfortunately unable to regulate and control all aspects of the order process. As such, ZALORA is not liable for any delays or issues that arise out of this aspect of the process. We are likewise not liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses that result from said delays and issues.
5.6 For any unexpected delays in the delivery process our customer service team will notify you through email.
5.7 Upon delivery of the Product to you, you may be required to sign for delivery. For cash on delivery payment, you agree to pay the courier in cash prior to receiving the Product. You must inspect the Product immediately after delivery, and contact ZALORA Customer Service representatives through email or live chat in case of any faults, defects or damage. You should hold on to the documents and packaging delivered with the Product.
5.8 Once you have received Marketplace product, both the Seller and ZALORA will not be liable for loss or destruction of the Product.
5.9 If delivery or collection is delayed through your unreasonable refusal to accept delivery or if you do not (within two weeks of our first attempt to deliver the Product to you) accept delivery or collect the Product from the carrier, or the carrier’s inability to find your location due to erroneous address provided, then we may (without affecting any other right or remedy available to us) do either or both of the following:
a) charge you for reasonable storage fee and other costs reasonably incurred by us; or b) no longer make the Product available for delivery or collection and notify you that we are immediately cancelling the applicable Contract, in which case we will refund to you or your credit or debit card company as applicable any money already paid to us under the applicable Contract, less our reasonable administration charges (including for attempting to deliver and then returning the Product, and any storage fees as provided for in clause 5.11(a) above).

6. Cancellation of Orders
6.1 Cancellation by Customer (Non-Faulty Product) If you wish to cancel your order please contact our Customer Service Team. No cancellation fees apply.
6.2 Once an order has been dispatched it may not be cancelled and the item must instead be returned to the Company according to guidelines provided by the customer service department. (Please call the above stated number or refer to your return-slip provided in your received parcel).
7. Faulty Products
Marketplace Products are held to the same standards as other ZALORA products, and we will liaise with Sellers if a product of theirs fails to meet these standards.
8. Complaints Management
As stated in clause 5.9, any complaints against Sellers should be placed through us. Please contact us here
9. Copyright Policy
9.1 ZALORA Marketplace has several policies in place, dedicated to protecting trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual properties to the best of our abilities.
9.2 At ZALORA Marketplace, we do our best to manage the content loaded on our website, ensuring that products listed do not infringe upon copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of third parties. Fraudulent products are not a part of our product line-up, and action will be taken against Sellers who list them.
9.3 Should you have reason to believe that your rights and trademarks have been infringed upon, please contact our customer care team, and we will launch an investigation into the matter.
10. Content
10.1 Any content uploaded to ZALORA Marketplace automatically grants us an irrevocable, perpetual, and royalty-free right to make use of it in any way we deem acceptable, on any platform of media.
10.2 The rights to any content uploaded to ZALORA Marketplace MUST be owned by you when it is uploaded. Should a complaint pertaining to content you have uploaded be filed, you agree to take full responsibility in addressing the complaint, and to pay for any damages incurred by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property infringements.
10.3 Please note that you waive any and all moral rights possessed by you in the uploaded content to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Liability
11.1 ZALORA Marketplace is not liable for any losses, potential or otherwise, incurred as a result of ZALORA or other users' taking actions described in the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Copyright Policy. This is including, but not limited to items listed, comments posted, disposal or damage of items suspected to be fraudulent, or any legal actions.
11.2 While we do vet and assess boutiques and sellers before allowing them to sell on ZALORA Marketplace, not every individual item and product piece passes through our hands for quality assessment before being delivered to you, the customer. Therefore, we are unable to completely guarantee the authenticity and accuracy of listings without a small margin of error. You can, though, be assured that any and all sellers and products have to undergo a review and training process that is in place to ensure the highest quality of goods and services provided.
11.3 ZALORA Marketplace, its affiliates, employees, staff, directors, agents, and advocates are not liable to you for any losses, potential or otherwise, that result from circumstances that are unforeseeable to any degree, directly or indirectly stemming from your inability to access or make use of our website and services.
12. Access And Usage
12.1 In using our website, you agree to not make use of any automated program or means (including but not limited to crawlers, robots, scrapers, bots or tools) to access our site without a written agreement on our part expressly allowing you to do so. Any such agreement, if provided, is non-transferable, and cannot be extended to include any other party. Information and content hosted on our website is owned and licensed to ZALORA Marketplace.
12.2 You agree that you will not copy, reproduce, or modify existing content on our website without written permission from ZALORA Marketplace, nor will you take any action that either directly or indirectly results in an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our servers and infrastructure.
12.3 You also agree to not make any attempt to interfere with our website, operations, or their workings, including circumventing any measures we have in place to restrict access to our site.
