The story follows Kim Woo-joo (played by Choi Woo-shik), the only son of a family that owns Myungsoondang, an 80-year-old bakery where he works as a sharp yet slightly self-absorbed marketing team leader. Through work, he crosses paths with Yoo Me-ri (Jung So-min), a talented subcontractor designer navigating a rough patch in life — from a cheating ex-fiancé to a fraudulent lease on her supposed newlywed home. Just when things seem hopeless, Me-ri wins a luxury townhouse reserved for newlyweds. The only problem? She’s single again. In a spontaneous twist, she turns to Woo-joo — who, amusingly, shares the same name as her ex — and proposes a 90-day fake marriage to claim the prize.
