The official trailer for Season 2’s ‘Squid Game‘ just dropped!

Mark your calendars, cause we’re diving back into the gruesome and bloody chaos this December 26th!

Player 456 is back in action, returning into the deadly competition 3 years after his shocking win. In the 45-second teaser, the teaser shows us Gi-Hoon (Lee Jung-jae) in his green jumpsuit, holding a gun pointing at the game’s masked overseer the Front Man (Lee Byung-hoon).

The concept seems to be Gi Hoon Vs. everyone else. And it’s looking way more intense than it seems!

Jo Yuri (Player 222)

Former IZ*ONE member, Yuri, making waves in acting since her iconic debut in the Playlist’s 2022 web drama, Mimicus. Seems like her role might be pretty significant, as she shows up a lot in the trailer too. We’re guessing her role might shake things up big time. Looking forward to seeing this singer and actress’ acting cause the thought of having her in this show was just a fever dream!

Im Siwan (Player 333)

In the trailer, Siwan’s character seems like a weak character and acts super innocent. Will there be a twist? Could he be hiding something? Im Siwan has been consistent in being villains in his past works like Boyhood and Summer Strike, go gear up. He’s either the greenest or the reddest flag.

T.O.P (Player 230)

Welcome back, actor Choi Seung-hyun! He’s back to stir things up. Known for his roles in Iris and Tazza: The Hidden Card, his character is surely seems as a menace by the fact that he knowingly caused someone to be eliminated in the trailer.

Park Sung-hoon

Yes, he is the same guy in The Glory and Queen of Tears. Apparently going undercover as a girl? We’re so curious to see what’s his deal in his disguising as a girl here.

Kang Haneul (Player 388)

Best known for his roles in television dramas The Heirs, Misaeng: Incomplete Life, and Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, he’s here with his long hair!

Park Gyu-young

She is well known for her roles, where she starred in Netflix hit, Celebrity, and season two of the acclaimed post-apocalyptic web series, Sweet Home. So excited to see her bring even more intensity to the show!

Wi Ha-joon

Survived the fall from Squid Game: Season 1, he is back as the relentless detective Hwang Jun-ho, who somehow gets even more hotter and iconic in season 2!

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk revealed that this season will dive into how Gi-hun follow through on his words after leaving the airport (in season 1’s ending), which his endeavor is to undercover the truth behind Squid Game, exploring who’s behind it all and why.
