The dynamic trio of SEVENTEEN’s beloved subunit BSS (BooSeokSoon)—Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi—just dropped a heartwarming and intriguing new teaser video for their highly-anticipated second single, “Teleparty”! Set to drop on January 8, 2025, this marks their first single album in two years, and CARATs (including me) couldn’t be more thrilled! 👏

What’s BSS’ “Teleparty” All About?
According to Pledis, Teleparty, the combination of “telepathy” and “party,” represents BSS’s heart-to-heart party of connection through their telepathic empathy, and means ‘a party connected telepathically with everyone in the world’.
In the teaser, the members deliver a message encouraging people to embrace and cherish their youth and youthful spirit. DK, Seungkwan, and Hoshi speak in a setting reminiscent of political rallies in front of a crowd about themes centered around youth.
“The performance of BSS, who has transformed into a ‘guardian of youth’ across generations, stands out. They give free time to students who are tired from studying in the trailer, and work overtime on behalf of office workers who are exhausted from working overtime. Furthermore, the members added warmth by acting as a mentor to two middle-aged people who are spending their monotonous days.”

What to Expect from BSS’ Comeback
BSS made waves with their chart-topping debut single Second Wind, featuring the viral title track “Fighting” (ft. Lee Young-ji). The song, praised for its uplifting message and catchy melody, earned them major accolades, including Performance of the Year award at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards and Best Digital Song award at the 38th Golden Disc Awards. Plus, BSS also took home the Most Outstanding K-Drama OST award at the 2024 Seoul Drama Awards for tvN’s popular drama ‘Queen of Tears‘ with their OST, “The Reasons of My Smiles”.
