ARMYs! Are you ready?— as Jin is finally returning with his solo album next month!
BTS Jin’s label, BIGHIT MUSIC shared that Jin is currently preparing for a new album with the goal of dropping it in November.
Back in June, Jin teased ARMYs by leaving a comment under his member’s post, BTS Jimin, on his second solo album tracklist announcement that the singer humorously remarked, “Jimin, I’m next. I’m going to sing too!”. This lighthearted comment sparked excitement among fans thus heightened their anticipation.
Despite his packed schedule— being the torchbearer for Paris Olympic right after his discharge from military, working as a global ambassador for Gucci, Fred and recently, Laneige— Jin is said to have devoted himself in preparing the album. Meanwhile, Jin has been receiving positive feedbacks by his presence as vocalist with his first solo single, ‘The Astronaut’ that’s co-written by Coldplay, solo ballads— ‘Awake’, ‘Epiphany’, and ‘Moon’.
After completing his military service as an active-duty soldier on June 12th, Jin wasted no time reconnecting with ARMYs, holding a hug event and fan meeting the very next day, on the 13th. The event was huge, with 1,000 lucky winners getting the chance to hug the superstar— yet another example of Jin’s genuine and unwavering love for his fans.
Jin has been seen appearing on tons of variety shows that shows off his non-stoppable and diverse charms including in his own variety show, ‘RUN JIN’, the spin-off of ‘RUN BTS‘. Plus, he had successfully wrapped up filming of ‘The Great Revolutionary War‘— a NETFLIX show, which will be released next year.
Let’s not forget about ‘Super Tuna’— originally released as playful gift for fans, the extended version made waves by snagging the #1 spot on Japan’s Oricon charts, and topping iTunes in other 57 countries, including Europe and U.S. This lively dance track, inspired by Jin’s pure love for fishing comes with a whimsical music video and choreography, perfectly showcases his cheeky and humorous side.
With all this buzz, it’s safe to say that not just ARMYs, but everyone is tuning in to see Jin shine as a solo artist.
