ARMYs, it’s finally official! It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for— j-hope of BTS is set to perform two exclusive shows in Singapore on April 26 and 27 as part of his highly anticipated first-ever solo tour, ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE‘!
On January 10, j-hope officially announced his upcoming solo tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE‘ by posting on Instagram with the caption “Finally!”.

About BTS j-hope
BTS j-hope, or Jung Ho-seok, is a South Korean lead rapper, main dancer and singer-songwriter born on February 18, 1994.
Following the announcement of BTS taking a break from group activities to focus on solo projects on June 14, 2022, j-hope was announced as the first member of BTS to begin promotions as a solo artist. He took his first step by releasing his first solo album ‘Jack In The Box’ in July 2022.
In the same month, he made history by becoming the first Korean artist to headline Lollapalooza.
In March 2024, j-hope released his second album, ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1‘, which focused on his roots in street dance. The album was accompanied by dance-themed documentaries and pop-ups that were closely connected to the album’s message.
Additionally, j-hope is also the second BTS member to complete his mandatory military service in October last year – following his member, Jin.
A Summary of the ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ Tour
According to BIG HIT MUSIC, the poster for the Seoul concert features j-hope strikes a dynamic pose on a lift against a vibrant red background. The name of the show means “j-hope on the stage,” but it also signifies that the hopes, wishes, and dreams of the audience will be expressed in various forms through the stage. He will also be performing songs from his special album ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’ for the first time live.
For the ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ tour, the acclaimed BTS rapper will kick start his first-ever solo tour in Seoul, South Korea on February 28, with live streaming available to those unable to attend in person. Following this, j-hope will head to multiple states throughout the US before moving on to Asia, performing in Manila, Jakarta, Taipei and Bangkok, and Singapore. With 31 shows planned, this’s shaping up to be his most ambitious solo endeavor yet!
“I hope 2025 will be beautiful with everyone in full bloom,” j-hope said in a New Year’s greeting to Weverse, “I think this year will be a very important year for me, I will show you a lot of things,” he added.
