If you are due for another haircut and you are looking for a new style, ditch the magazine cutting of Olivier Giroud and try speaking to your barber in his language. It would help both you and him decide if that is the best hair style for you. More importanly, your barber can envision how to adapt it to suit the shape of your head. The last thing you want is a Crew Cut when you actually meant a Caesar Cut.
Afraid? Don’t be when you finally know these right terms:
1. The Ivy League
This is also known as the Harvard or the Princeton Clip. It is similar to a Crew Cut but the difference is that the length of the hair on the top and sides are an inch longer. This hair is easy to maintain an to style it. All you would need is to part your hair to the side with a comb and simply use your fingers to comb through it. Apply pomade or mousse when running your fingers through your hair for added volume.

2. The Comb Over Fade
After growing out your Ivy League hair do, the Comb Over Fade is a natural progression after that. Taper the sides and back while keeping the top longer than them. Trim it if you wish. The slick back look can be achieved with gel and combing your hair to shape it. Start with the comb at your parting then move it diagonally across to the back of your head.

3. The Undercut
It is a popular hair cut for men where the sides and back are clipped short. The top is significantly longer. Style it the same way you would for a Comb Over Fade. Another option would be to add pomade to the tips only. Use your fingers to shape it to get that effortless and beach-ready look.
Apart from knowing these terms, you would need to be specific with your barber. How much would you like to trim, the neckline and is it a taper or a fade cut. Do these and your next hair cut will be a breeze!
